Responsibilities:
- Challenge the account strategies and tactics against the defined goals, make refinements and recommendations to support growth of the account.
- Monitor and track deadlines and key milestones to help ensure that expectations are met throughout our projects. Resolve issues, concerns, delays, and keep projects on track.
- Oversee the completion of and/or modifications to the scope of work set forth in our proposals. Manage client expectations by providing timing and budget implications of scope change requests.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to brainstorm, develop, coordinate, and implement marketing strategies that connect with our clients end goals to show performance.
- Establish and cultivate positive relationships with clients to understand their needs, industry and insight for future opportunities. Keep a finger on the pulse of client health and take action to address concerns proactively.
- Create scopes of work, cost templates and proposals for new projects.
- Organize annual or quarterly planning meetings for clients to define new goals, strategy, pitch new services and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Review marketing analytics and weekly/monthly reports to contribute holistically to the larger marketing strategy.
- Engage with internal department teams to keep up with new technology, trends, and professional development to understand current digital marketing tools and methods.
- Attend client photography and video shoots as needed (some travel required).
- Facilitate internal and client-facing meetings.
- Offer mentorship to Associate Account Managers through trainings, check-ins and collaboration.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) preferred with a focus in communication, marketing, and/or advertising.
- Knowledge of and/or the drive to learn all aspects of the services offered by Oneupweb, including SEO and Content Marketing, Paid Media, Video/Photography, Design, Development and Social Media.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of clients, across multiple disciplines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively problem-solve and work collaboratively with a team or independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Account Managers need to be able to communicate effectively so both the client and the internal teams clearly understand the process, steps, and expected outcomes.
- Strong presentation skills.
Preferred:
- 1-3 years of digital marketing experience.
- WordPress experience.
- Experience with HubSpot and Teamwork.com.
- Enthusiasm for client interactions.
